Seriously I’ve seen design students do better logos than this.
No wait thats a insult to design students. I’ve seen rushed logo’s done by design students 5 minutes before class, that were better than this.
It doesn’t say the Olympics at all. It looks like one of my t-shirts from childhood. Back in the early 90′s were they loved bright shitty designs.

haha, i have a mixed opinions about this logo. i like it because i’m partial to retro eighties shit and this logo makes me want to slap a slapband on my wrist and whip out my atari. but on the other hand, i don’t think it strongly exemplifies the olympics and i fail to see how it cost £400,000. that’s almost one million in aussie dollars. i wish someone would pay me that much money to create something in mspaint!
